  State Cost Share Programs

The Maryland Cost Share Program helps producers pay for best management practices to be installed on farmland. MACS will pay up to 87.5% of installation cost of the following practices for qualified landowners:

Critical Area Planting
Dead Bird Composting Facility
Grade Control Structure
Grassed Waterway
Heavy Use Area Protection

Manure Transport
Manure Waste Storage
Riparian Buffer
Winter Cover Crop
